Deep at the edge of the Murmuring Sea lives an old tortoise who has spent her whole life collecting sounds the world is in danger of forgetting — the creak of a favorite chair, the exact laugh of a grandmother, the first raindrop on a tin roof. When a small fox arrives at her lighthouse claiming one of those sounds belongs to him, the two must decide together whether some things are meant to be kept safe forever, or gently let go.
